Description

This long, low ridge of clear resin starts at a steep left end, lifts to a high shoulder just left of centre, and then runs away to the right along a slowly falling ridge line, with one last small rise before it ends. Its faces are rippled with long, raking creases, like ice shaped by the wind. Small dried leaves in a russet brown lie scattered along its whole length, each at its own angle, as if blown across the ridge.

Wind-Blown Leaves Along a Long Ridge

The ridge is cast in imported clear resin and its surface is finished by hand into overlapping ripples and long creases that sweep down from the crest. The leaves are slim and pointed, most folded along the midrib and some still on a short stalk, in a deep russet brown, and they are spread out along the ridge rather than bunched, so the eye travels the full length of the piece. Between the creases the faces stay glassy, and the edges along the top are left sharp enough to glint. Each ridge is finished by eye, so its crest line and its scatter vary from one to the next.

Its length asks for a credenza or the full run of a sideboard, where it can stretch out like a line of hills on the horizon. Seen side on, the leaves read as a drift across the whole ridge, and a plain wall behind keeps the outline crisp, while a lamp at one end draws the creases out into long shadows. Indoor use only.

A Long Ridge Made to Order and Crated

Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. Each order is for one ridge of clear resin, cast and finished once the order comes in. To order, the leaves can be packed more densely or spaced further apart, or replaced with gold, silver or copper flakes, and the ridge can be drawn with more peaks or a gentler line; other lengths are possible too. It travels in a padded crate and needs two people to unpack it and lift it into place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
