Description

Dried flowers make a small spray at the heart of this block of high-clarity resin, lying flat behind its square front face so that every stem, petal and leaf can be traced in outline. Open resin surrounds the spray on all four sides, like a keepsake pressed under glass, and the polished sides let it be seen edge-on as well as face to face. Narrow in depth, it stands upright unaided, with flat faces and crisp, square corners.

Dried Flowers Held Upright in Clear Resin

Water-clear through its depth, the high-clarity resin is polished to a glassy finish on every face, so the flowers inside are seen without any haze. The petals are thin and papery, the stems and leaves as fine as pen strokes, and each keeps its own natural curve rather than lying stiffly in line. From the front the spray reads in full; from the side it narrows to a slender ribbon of colour. No two dried flowers keep quite the same shape, so the outline and the shades of the spray vary from one block to the next.

Small and upright, it fits neatly on a narrow shelf between books and small frames, or on a windowsill that catches the daylight. At 14cm it is a good height for a bedside table, close to a reading lamp, where the dried flowers can be looked at in detail. A plain wall behind it lets the outline of the spray stand out, and it looks just as good on a dressing table among small keepsakes. Indoor use only.

One Flower Block for Each Order

Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. You are buying a single block, which is sold individually. On commission it can hold a particular flower, a sprig of leaves or a few grass heads, the flowers can be gathered in one colour such as whites or yellows, and the block can be made as a cube or at another size. It travels wrapped in soft padding inside a box with guarded corners, and it is ready for display the day it arrives. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A spray of dried flowers framed in a slim square of high-clarity resin belongs with our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
