Description

This tall, slim cylinder of high-clarity resin rises from a flat, clear foot to a smooth dome at the top. Between the two, dried flowers and grasses drift down its length among fern fronds and leaves in yellow, cream, green and russet brown, tumbling at every angle as though caught falling through still water. Tiny sprays of dried buds and fine twigs thread between them, and an empty band of clear resin is left beneath the dome.

Dried Fronds Tumbling Down a Domed Cylinder

High-clarity resin keeps the cylinder water-clear from dome to foot, and its curved sides are polished to a glassy finish. Seen from the front, the botanicals overlap in loose layers; turned a little, the curve of the resin stretches and repeats them towards the edges, so it looks different with every step past it. The fern fronds keep the fine ladder of their leaflets, the leaves their veins and toothed margins, and the small buds their papery texture. Dried plants never repeat themselves exactly, so each cylinder holds its own multicoloured mix of shapes and shades.

At 55cm it makes a slender upright accent on a sideboard or a console table, taking up very little room. It also suits a deep shelf in a bookcase or the corner of a hall console. Daylight from a window brings out the yellows and greens, and a plain-painted wall gives the outlines a crisp edge. Indoor use only.

One Cylinder, Bespoke Posies and Packing

Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The price covers a single cylinder, sold individually. On commission it can be filled with flowers of a single colour, with grasses and seed heads alone, or with a posy chosen to suit a particular room, and it can be made at another height. It is packed upright in a padded carton with its dome protected, and it should be lifted out by its body rather than by the top. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
