Clear Drawn Top Three Leg Cast Resin Table, 145cm, with triangular puckered top, curved tapering legs, and amber inclusions, on a plain white background.
Clear Drawn Top Three Leg Cast Resin Table - 145cm $9,04500
Description

The top of this cast resin table is a thin sheet of clear resin, drawn to a triangle and slightly puckered across its face, and three slender legs are pulled down from its corners and curve out to the floor. The whole piece is cast as one, and small amber inclusions are caught along the edges and down the legs.

A Top Drawn Thin Over Four Bent Legs

The pucker across the top is modelled into the mould rather than worked in afterwards, so it runs off the face and over the edge in one movement. The three legs grow down from the top itself and bow outward to the floor, and keeping their section even through that long draw is the difficult part of the build. The surface is left clear and glossy, so the inclusions read sharply through it. Each of the three feet is trued flat against the others, because a drawn leg never comes out of the mould at exactly the length of its neighbour.

It works as a desk, a hall table or a small dining table, and the three legs curve out, so allow for their spread beyond the top when measuring a space. The puckered top breaks up reflections, which suits it to a room that already has a lot going on in it, and it takes a standard chair without an arm fouling a leg.

The Finish, the Legs, and the Order

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The drawn top is the slow part. At order, three things are open. The top can be frosted instead of left clear, the leg curve is drawn to order, and the inclusions can be left out altogether. You name the top length and the leg height. For a matching group, the pucker across the top is set once and carried through it. The three drawn legs and the thin top edge are held clear inside the crate, and it takes four people to bring it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A thin top drawn down into three legs makes a table for our art furniture; the puckered surface belongs with our organic sculptures, and its high-clarity casting with our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
