This side table is a clear resin column gathered into deep vertical folds, like a heavy curtain drawn and let go, widening as it falls to the floor. Every fold is polished to a mirror so the light runs down the ridges and gathers in the hollows, and the top is cut flat across the folds to give a working surface.
The folds are modelled into the mould and each one is set at its own radius, so the section stays even round every ridge - which is the slow part, because a fold that thins on its outer face shows as a bright line down the whole column. Every surface is polished, the inner faces of the hollows included, and they are the difficult ones to reach. The top is cut flat across the folds last of all and its arris is left true rather than eased, so the flat reads as a deliberate cut through the drapery. The foot is finished flat where the folds meet the floor, which is the only part of the piece that is not a curve.
At 70cm it sits comfortably by a sofa arm or next to an armchair, with room on its cut top for a lamp or a glass. The folds need light passing across them to be read at all, so a position beside a window or a lamp does more for it than a lit alcove would. It is heavy at the foot, which makes it steady but awkward to shift once it is down, so the position is worth settling first.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The drawn fold is the slow part. Every order settles three points. The fold count is open, the spread at the foot is drawn to order, and a tint is taken through the whole column. The top span and the column height follow your figures. Run them as one order and the pitch of the folds agrees; run them apart and it does not. Its crate is shaped round the fold ridges and the cut top, and two people lift it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Folds drawn down a clear column like a curtain belong with our organic sculptures; with a reading lamp on its cut top, it is a side table from our art furniture, its clear mass one of our resin sculptures.

Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
