Two squared blocks of glassy resin sit at the top of this clear rock, flat-faced and sharp-edged like ice cut from a frozen lake. The left block juts out sideways well beyond the mass beneath it, and a second crowds against it on the right, its top a step beneath. Below them the rock changes character completely, turning rough, frosted and pitted as it steps down in rugged ledges to a broad foot. Slender slivers in dark brown and russet drift through the two blocks like a shoal of darts, with a few rusty crumbs low down.
The contrast between the two halves is the heart of the piece. Above, broad polished planes stay glass-clear from edge to edge, so every sliver can be followed at its own depth; below, the imported clear resin keeps a crystalline, pitted skin that glitters and softens the view. The slivers are slim and pointed, some curved, dark brown to near black with silvery edges where they catch the light, and a few warmer russet ones are mixed among them. Their scatter and the reach of the jutting block vary from one rock to the next.
At 53cm it fits a sideboard or a console in a living room, and a broad desk in a study gives the jutting block enough room. Light from above or from one side sets the polished blocks flashing and leaves the frosted mass soft and pale, while a darker wall behind makes the slivers easy to read. Indoor use only.
Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. The slivers can be multiplied into a dense shoal, kept to a few, or swapped for gold or copper leaf, and the frosted mass can be polished to match the blocks for an all-clear piece. Other sizes are produced on request. Each order brings one rock, sold individually. It travels in a fitted crate with extra padding beneath the jutting block; lift it by the frosted mass, never by the blocks. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Polished above and frosted below, this slivered rock settles beside our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures, and the jutting block speaks to our abstract sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
