With no tint anywhere, this splash looks like water stopped in mid-air. A bowl ringed with jagged crown points holds the foot; one side sweeps up as a broad curving wall that rolls over into a twisted band, while the other throws out a long spray ending in a splay of small points. A slender arch stands in the bowl beneath the band, and above it a looping arm rises to two upright tips, every part of it colourless.
Clear resin hides nothing, so a colourless piece is judged entirely on its form and its finish. Every surface of this splash has to be glassy, because a dull patch would show at once, and every edge has to be crisp enough to hold a highlight, since edges and reflections are all there is to describe the shape. The twisted band is the passage that asks the eye to work: its ribbons overlap and are followed by the bright lines along their rims. In return the piece borrows its colour from wherever it stands, warming in a timber room and cooling against a white one.
Colourless resin suits almost any interior, and it is a good choice for a room that already has plenty going on. At 81cm it rests on a sideboard, a reception desk or a low plinth with its loop rising to eye level, and it takes on whatever lies behind it: before a coloured wall the whole splash picks up that colour, and before a window it turns into a play of light on edges. A dark wall gives it a crisp outline.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Nothing about the form is fixed: the spray can reach further or stop sooner, the loop can open or close, the band can be given a looser or a tighter twist, and the scale is yours to choose. Because there is no colour to balance, those proportions are agreed with you before work begins. It travels with every point and tip padded, in a crate lined with foam, arrives ready to stand, and is lifted from beneath the bowl rather than by any arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear splash drawn only in edges and highlights stands among our organic sculptures, belongs with our resin sculptures as untinted work, and keeps its sparkle for our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
