Description

A broad head crowns this clear resin rock, rising to a rounded summit on the left and, past a shallow notch, to a second rounded lobe on the right. Beneath it the body narrows: one flank pinches in at mid-height and swells again before the form tapers to its foot, while the opposite flank runs down in a long, steady slope. White streaks race across the glassy faces like foam over rapids, and a few curled flakes of olive-bronze drift through the clear.

Foam-Streaked Lobes Above a Pinched Flank

Its imported clear resin carries two surfaces at once: dense white streaking that rushes over the faces like water breaking around boulders, and smooth glassy windows that let the eye see deep into the rock, a few of them clouded to a soft milky white. The flakes are curled and twisted rather than flat, an olive-bronze with a low sheen and a fine lengthwise grain; one is rolled to a point high in the head, another trails thin strands near the foot. The outline and the flakes come out differently in every rock.

At 55cm it is in proportion on a credenza, a sideboard or a long console, and a broad desk in a study has room for it as well. Turn the pinched flank towards a window so the streaks catch the side light, and keep it against a plain wall in a mid or dark tone so the white reads strongly. Seen from a chair across the room, the two lobes of the head make a soft, cloud-like outline. Indoor use only.

Flakes, Finish and a Fitted Crate

From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. More curled flakes can be set through the head and body, fewer can be used, or none at all, and the milky windows can be cleared or the streaking calmed for a quieter surface. The design can be cast at other heights to order. One rock is supplied per order, priced on its own. A fitted crate protects it in transit; lift it from under the body, with a hand steadying the head. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
