Clear Crumpled Flake Hammered Tower Rock Resin Sculpture - 39cm
Clear Crumpled Flake Hammered Tower Rock Resin Sculpture - 39cm $2,36100
Description

This compact clear resin rock sets a squared, flat-topped tower beside a rounded dome that leans against it, both rising from one broad, rounded mass. Every face is dimpled evenly, like metal beaten with a small hammer or rain falling on still water, so the whole rock glitters. Crumpled flakes in tan and deep brown gather in clusters, in the tower and among the hollows near the foot.

A Beaten Surface on a Tower and a Dome

The resin is imported and clear, and the dimpling covers it so completely that the rock reads almost silver until you look into it, when the clear body and the flakes appear. The tower keeps sharp corners and a level top; the dome is soft and full; the two meet in a deep crease. The flakes are crumpled rather than flat, a papery tan in some clusters and a deep brown in others, and they gather in small drifts. Each rock's dimpling and its drifts of flakes are its own.

At 39cm it sits comfortably on a hall table, a bookshelf or the end of a desk, and it is solid enough in outline to hold a sideboard alone. The dimpled surface comes alive under a spotlight or beside a window, scattering points of brightness, while a dark shelf behind it deepens the browns of the flakes. Indoor use only.

Heavier Drifts, Lighter Ones, and Delivery

Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The flakes can gather in heavier drifts or thin out to a handful, or they can be left out to keep the rock plain, and a smooth, undimpled surface can be ordered for a quieter rock. The design is offered in other sizes too. Each order is for one rock. It leaves us in a fitted crate, and it should be lifted from beneath the broad mass, never by the tower or the dome. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A hammered tower with a rounded dome leaning on its flank belongs to our resin sculptures; the beaten surface suits our abstract sculptures, and on a shelf or hall table it fits our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
