This dining table is a rectangular slab of clear resin crazed right through, so the whole thickness reads as fractured rather than the surface alone. Its four edges are left in a run of blunt drips and points, like water arrested part way down, and the slab is carried well inboard on two dark pedestals worked into irregular rock forms.
The crazing does not stop at the edge of the slab: it continues out into the drip profile, so the fractures and the outline belong to the same event and the edge never reads as a cut. Fractures sit at every depth in the clear body, at every angle, and a slab this long holds a bright line all the way along it even under a single fitting. The two pedestals are the opposite in character, matte and rough where the slab is glassy, and they are not a matched pair: each is a different rock form, so the table has a heavier end and a lighter one.
It seats six, and the inboard pedestals mean the end chairs have nothing to work around. It is a table that wants to be walked round, so it does better with space on all four sides than pushed against a wall. The clear slab lets a patterned floor read straight through, which is worth using deliberately: over boards or a rug the pattern becomes part of the table. Glass, timber and unglazed ceramic all sit well on it, and the drip edge is the one detail to keep clear of a chair back. Indoor use only.
Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. This table arrives as three separate items in one case, and the sequence on site is worth having straight before the crate is opened. Both pedestals come out first and are positioned and levelled to the slab's marked centres, which are set out so the overhang matches at each end; a pedestal out of position by a few centimetres puts the drip edge at different distances from the two ends and it shows immediately. The slab is then lifted flat by four people, one at each corner, and lowered rather than slid, because sliding drags the underside across the pedestal tops. It is not a piece to reposition afterwards without lifting the slab off again. Slab length is specified to order at any span, with the crazing set finer or more open, and the pedestals are offered in this dark finish or a pale stone tone; a clear resin pair is made instead where the whole table is to read as one material. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A crazed clear slab carried on hewn black pedestals belongs to our art furniture; its drip edge and rock forms lead to our organic sculptures, and its glassy body to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
