Clear Centred Dried Botanical Cube Resin Sculpture - 10cm
Clear Centred Dried Botanical Cube Resin Sculpture - 10cm $1,34900
Description

A dried natural specimen hangs at the heart of this cube of imported clear resin, with an even margin of clear on every side, so it can be studied from any of the six faces. Every face is polished flat and every edge kept crisp, and when the cube is turned to a corner the neighbouring faces reflect the specimen and seem to repeat it. The specimen keeps its full natural texture, and because it sits at the very centre, it reads as though it were floating.

A Natural Find Suspended in a Clear Cube

Imported clear resin gives the cube a glassy body that stays clear to the centre, and all six faces are polished to the same smooth finish, so it has no front or back. Viewed square on, the specimen appears whole and undistorted; viewed across a corner, the faces double and re-angle it, which makes so small an object surprisingly lively in the hand. Each specimen is a real dried piece of a plant, so its shape and colour are its own and no two cubes hold quite the same thing.

At 10cm it sits neatly on a desk, a bedside table or a windowsill, and it is easy to pick up and turn in the hand. Among books on a shelf, or beside a small stack of ceramics, it adds a quiet point of interest. Daylight from the side shows the specimen at its clearest, and a white tabletop under it makes the clear cube sparkle. Indoor use only.

A Single Cube, Made and Delivered

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. Each order is for one cube, sold individually. Made as a bespoke commission, the cube can take a seed head, a small cone, a flower or a sprig chosen with you; it can also come at another size, or be drawn out into a rectangular block for a longer specimen. The resin can be given a faint warm tint for a softer look. It is packed in a snug, foam-lined box, so it arrives ready to go on a shelf with no assembly. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

One dried natural specimen held dead centre in a cube of clear resin settles among our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
