Clear Brown Ink Veined Twin Peak Resin Sculpture, 55cm, with two mountain-like peaks on a black marble base, set against a plain white background.
Clear Brown Ink Veined Twin Peak Resin Sculpture - 55cm $1,88900
Description

Brown ink drawn through a colourless twin peak, carried on the black marble supplied with it. At the left is the taller summit, with a second rising to the right of it. The ink gathers under both summits and along the ground between them, darkening almost to black in places, and the body is narrow in depth.

Brown Ink Reads as Earth, Black as Shadow

The same technique in two colours makes two different subjects. Black ink through a clear body reads as shadow - weather, distance, a storm over the range - and the piece becomes atmospheric. Brown reads as earth: strata, iron in the rock, something in the ground rather than in the air. Nothing about how the veining is drawn changes between the two. The colour alone moves the subject from meteorology to geology, which is worth knowing when choosing between them.

The veining reads as brown only in a bright position, and a surface that catches the morning does most for it. In a dim corner the brown closes to near-black and the distinction the piece is built on is lost. It needs little depth, and on its stone it sits comfortably below the eye on most surfaces.

Ink Colour, the Stone, and Getting It Home

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. Nothing but the colour of the ink separates a geological reading from an atmospheric one. The ink is taken to a black or a blue, its density is raised, and the marble is cut to other sizes. Black ink makes the more dramatic piece and brown the more geological, and that is the choice to settle at order rather than a preference. It is sent in one padded case with the stone boxed beneath and both summits faced, and it is carried level. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A twin peak veined like earth belongs with our organic sculptures; brown ink gathered under both summits puts it among our resin sculptures, and a bright position that keeps the brown warm suits our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
