A colourless range stands over its own inverted reflection with brown ink running through both. The two halves meet at a waterline just above the middle and the reflection is drawn flatter and wider than the range above it. It is carried on a black base, which is supplied with it.
The ink is what proves the two halves are one object. Veining runs from the range straight down into the reflection without stopping at the waterline, and no real reflection could do that: a mirrored image has its own marks, not a continuation of the marks above it. So the piece is never quite claiming to be a reflection - it is claiming to be a single form that happens to be shaped like one, and the veining is the part of the drawing that says so.
The waterline runs horizontally through the middle, so the piece has to be met at the eye for the two halves to separate. Seen from above, the reflection closes onto the range and the object becomes one confused mass. A console at seated height, a sideboard or a shelf at the eye all present it correctly, and a low coffee table does not. It needs length on a surface but almost no depth.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. Nothing stops at the waterline: the veining carries straight down through it, which is what no mirrored image could do. A black or a blue ink is offered instead, the join between the halves is moved, and the base beneath comes in other sizes. A version with the reflection left clear separates the two halves sharply and is worth seeing. It is sent as two packages, the base flat and the casting on edge, and joined on site. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Brown ink crossing its own waterline belongs with our organic sculptures; veining that runs from range into reflection places it in our resin sculptures, and a mirrored scene seen level suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
