A ribbon wound into four curls, each turning back over the one beneath, the lowest spreading out into the foot the whole thing stands on. A clear blue holds the whole ribbon, deepest where the curls overlap and palest along the drawn edge. Nothing is supplied under it. The lowest curl spreads into a foot and the column stands on that.
Standing the same curls on their own foot instead of a plinth puts the whole question into the casting, since there is nothing else underneath to take any of it. With no block beneath it the lowest curl has to be the most decorative passage of the piece and its whole structure at once, which is why that turn is drawn wider than the three above it. A ribbon that leaves a gap at every turn asks the body to hold its own weight across empty air four times over. Polished on all faces, and the hooks are polished inside where only the gaps are seen.
A study, a bedroom or a broad shelf. It is scaled for a room rather than a hall. A pale ground behind it, since the gaps are as much of the piece as the ribbon is. Light through the gaps prints the curls on the surface behind, which is worth siting for. The outline carries and the depth of blue does not, so from away it is one pale shape.
Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The blue is deepened, the curls are drawn tighter, and stone is supplied beneath it. Tighten the curls and the gaps close, so the piece stops being something you look through. A frosted green version of these curls is made, and two others; frosting puts the colour on the outside instead of in the depth. It arrives whole in one box and needs only to be lifted out and put where it belongs. One person, taken around the lowest curl. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Blue ribbons wound into open curls are found in our organic sculptures; the clear blue casting joins our resin sculptures, and pieces scaled for a room stand in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
