A twisted trunk leaning to one side with branches carried out well past it, buds drawn along their length, and the roots cut level where they meet the floor. Colourless from root to twig, which leaves the branching to be read as outline and nothing else. Nothing is supplied underneath; the trunk is cut level where it meets the floor.
A tree drawn this thin has to be balanced rather than carried: the root mass is taken back on the side opposite the lean, which is what keeps a spread this wide standing on its own plan. Nothing is added underneath to help it, and the roots are cut level so that nothing needs to be. A body drawn this thin is why the tree reads as a drawing: every branch returns a bright edge and almost nothing in between, so the whole thing is outline. Polished along every branch and over the trunk, with the buds left as they are cast.
Floor work for a wide room, and the spread rather than the height is what needs the space. It needs a dark wall behind it, because a colourless tree against a pale one has no branches at all. Side light and a dark wall together are what put the branching into relief; anything else loses it. It reads as a spread from the door and the buds along the branches only appear within a pace or two.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. We will bring the spread in, add to the branching, or set the trunk at another lean. Bring the spread in and the trunk is drawn thinner with it, because the trunk is sized for the reach rather than for the height. Trunk and outer branches travel apart and are assembled where the tree will stand. Three people, and a route measured first: the branches catch on a doorframe long before the weight tells. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A bare clear tree with its branches carried out to one side belongs to our organic sculptures; its colourless trunk and twigs join our resin sculptures, and a wide room with a dark wall gives the spread its due among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
