A cast resin sculpture of water arching over and beginning to fall, with three drops hanging from the underside of the curve: a long one at the bend, a short one beyond it and another long one near the end. The arch rises from a broad, ribbed foot, leans as it climbs, turns over at the top and runs out almost level, thinning to a rounded end that reaches past the last drop. Everything is colourless and polished.
A droplet that is about to fall and a droplet that has stopped are the same shape at different weights. Too small and it reads as a bead stuck to the underside; too large and it looks like it is already falling and the piece has caught it late. The right weight is a narrow band, and it is different for each drop because each hangs from a different thickness of material: the one at the bend hangs from the heavy turn of the arch, the other two from the thinner reach beyond it. They also have to be unequal in length. A row of matched drops reads as decoration; drops at different stages of falling read as one moment caught, which is the whole of the piece.
The droplets are the whole point and they are underneath, so at 95cm it needs to be met with the eye at or below the height of the arch. From above, the drops are hidden by the curve they hang from and the piece is a plain arc. Anywhere it can be approached from the front with the eye at or under the top of the curve will show them. It is colourless throughout and takes its tone from behind as well as below, so a dark ground gives the arch an outline and a pale one makes the droplets the only thing that reads. Light from behind and to one side fills each drop.
Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. The droplets hang off the underside of the arch on nothing, and each one has to be the right weight to look about to fall. The droplet count is set at order, a pale blue is carried through the arch on request, and the span is drawn to suit the position. The height is cut to order as well. It arrives in one braced crate standing on its foot, with the arch braced end to end and every drop padded separately, and it should be lifted only by the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Water arching over and starting to fall is organic sculpture; the casting is resin sculpture; and droplets on the underside are indoor sculpture detail.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
