A clear arched upright in resin with no colour at all, a fin set out from its waist and the arch turning over into a flared top. Every curve is drawn in highlights, and the black marble underfoot, which comes with the piece, is its one dark note. It changes with every room it stands in.
Without any colour, this arch is read entirely by its highlights: the bright lines along the fin, the lip of the flare and the turn of the body. Clear resin shows every flaw, so the casting is worked until it is free of cloud, and the polish is carried to a high gloss on every surface. The piece takes its tone from its surroundings, so the same arch looks different in every room it stands in. It is a quiet piece, and an exacting one to make. The block keeps it from floating away visually.
A wide shelf or a console in front of a coloured or dark wall, which the clear body will borrow. It suits a minimal room, a gallery wall or a space full of glass and steel. A spotlight from one side draws the edges in light; flat, even light makes it almost vanish. It can share a surface with other pieces without competing.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. A faint tint, smoke or blue, can be added if a fully clear piece is too quiet, and the black marble can be exchanged for white. The coloured versions of this arch, and the marbled original, are sold separately. One crate holds casting and block, and a single person can set it down, hands under the foot, without any tools. Nothing needs fixing once it is down. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Colourless resin of this height sits in our resin sculptures, and the family in colour is found among our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
