Description

An arched form in colourless cast resin, water-clear from its foot to the tip of the crest. The body rises from a slim foot in a double curve, spreads into a rippled crest ending in a point, and puts out a fin at one side, close to the foot. Having no colour, the piece is read by its edges and highlights, and whatever stands behind it appears bent within the curves. Its base is black marble, supplied with it.

Colourless, and Read by Its Edges

A clear casting hides nothing, so the quality of the resin and the polish is the whole of its finish. Every curve has to be worked until it reads as one unbroken line of highlight, because any dullness or ripple in the surface shows at once against the transparency. The piece takes its colour from where it stands, cool beside a window and warm under lamplight, and the black stone under it gives the eye a firm edge to start from. It is the colourway that suits a room already full of colour.

A shelf in a minimal room, or a console or sideboard, where the clear form can hold its own against plain walls. It also works in a busy, colourful space, because it borrows from its surroundings rather than adding to them. Side light from a window runs highlights along the crest and down the curve, and a dark wall behind it outlines the whole shape. It pairs well with glass, chrome and pale stone.

A Tint, a Frost, or Just Clear

Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. A light tint of any colour can go into the resin, or the surface can be frosted for a softer, milkier look, and ink can be added at the foot as it is on one of its siblings. White marble can be used for the block. Other versions of this form include aqua, emerald, graded blue, gloss black and the black-veined white original, all sold individually. It is packed in one small box with its block, and it needs no tools or second pair of hands to set up. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
