In this low table a thick clear resin slab with a relief-worked upper face rests on a run of dripping columns that merge into arches beneath it, with no joint showing anywhere along them. The arches leave the floor visible under the middle, which is what keeps a slab this wide from reading as a block.
The arches are cast with the slab as one body, so nothing is joined and nothing bears on a fixing. Each dripping column is modelled into the mould and the springing where it meets the arch beside it is the thinnest material on the piece, which is what sets the schedule. The relief on the top is worked into the upper mould face and the underside is left plane. Every surface is polished, the insides of the arches included, and the bearing faces are ground flat and brought to one plane before the piece is set down for the first time.
It is made for the centre of a room, and being square it offers four equal sides to draw seats up to. The arches leave the floor visible underneath, so what the piece stands on is part of what is seen. It bears across a broad footprint, which suits a soft floor better than four points would.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. Most of it is the arched underside. You settle three things. The arch count is open, the relief on the top is drawn to order, and the plan is made rectangular instead of square. You give the top span and the arch height. The span of the arches is common to a single order and particular to it. The crate is built so nothing touches the arch springings and the slab arris; four people take it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A slab resting on its own dripping arches gives our art furniture a square low table; the arches suit our organic sculptures, the relief-worked top our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
