A shallow knotted rock in clear resin, its band edged in teal along the outer rim and deepening to a strong teal at the foot, while the faces stay colourless. Twice the band folds back on its own path, so two big loops sit above a third opening near the base. Its marble base is black and included.
Teal laid along the edges outlines the knot the way a pen line outlines a drawing. The broad faces of the band stay clear, so the eye passes through them, while the rims of the band and of each loop carry the colour and draw the whole figure in a single teal line. At the foot the teal thickens and gives the piece its weight. The ripples that run the length of the band carry the colour in and out of the folds, so the edges flicker as the light changes.
On a credenza or a long console at 97cm with its marble, it reads as a teal drawing against a pale wall, which is what it needs. It can stand close to the wall, as it is all front, but give the loops a light ground behind them. Side light along the wall brings out the ripples on the band.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. The teal can be carried further across the faces until the band reads solid, or kept to a fine line, and blue or amber can take its place. The number of loops is chosen at order. The base can be ordered in a paler stone. It ships lying flat on fitted supports in its crate, not upright, and it is lifted by the band in two places, never by a loop. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A knot of clear resin outlined in teal belongs with our abstract sculptures; one band closing round three openings ties it to our organic sculptures, and colour kept to the rims suits our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
