Two ribbed pumpkins of different sizes, each with a curling stem drawn out of the crown, supplied together on a red lacquered tray. Colourless and ribbed, with gold caught inside the flesh of both, on a red lacquered tray. Both pumpkins come with the tray, which is round and shallow.
Ribbing a clear body multiplies whatever is suspended inside it, so a few flecks of gold read as many and move as the piece is turned in the hand. Gold suspended in a smooth clear body would sit still. Behind a ribbed wall every fleck is refracted by each rib it passes, so a small quantity reads as a great deal and the whole of it moves when the piece is turned in the hand. Gold suspended inside a ribbed clear body is refracted by every rib, so the flecks multiply and move as the piece is turned - which a smooth casting would not do. Polished over the ribs and the stems, and the tray carries a lacquer rather than a polish.
A dining table or a kitchen island suits them, and they are among the very few things here meant to be picked up. Nothing behind it matters. What is under it does, which is why the tray is red. Light from above sets the gold going inside both bodies at once. They read as a pair from the doorway and as two different sizes from the table.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The pumpkin count can be changed, the gold can be left out, and the tray can be had in another colour. Change the count and the tray is cut to suit, since two on a tray made for four reads as something missing. They are supplied as a set of two on one tray rather than singly, and the count is the first thing that can be changed if a longer table wants more of them. One crate, the tray packed flat and the pumpkins wrapped separately above it. One person. Each pumpkin is a two-handed lift on its own. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two clear ribbed pumpkins on a red tray belong to our organic sculptures; the gold caught in their flesh joins our resin sculptures, and a room where they can be picked up and turned keeps them among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
