Clear resin streaked with a gold-toned colour fans open and turns back on itself, the gold gathering along the edges and the fuller parts and running deepest towards the foot, with fine gold-toned flecks scattered through the clear reaches. Two legs rise from the foot in an open arch, a swirling ring of water opens above them, a plumed arm climbs on one side and a long arm reaches up and over to hang in a drip on the other. The fan is wider than it is deep and the return at the top comes back almost to the vertical, so the piece encloses a space without closing it. It stands on a plain round black disc.
Gold comes into this splash in two ways, and they read quite differently. The first is a gold-toned colour carried in the resin itself, laid in smooth, translucent streaks along the edges and wherever the water gathers, so it pools deepest in the legs and the foot and lightens as the arms climb. The second is a scatter of fine gold-toned flecks through the clear reaches, too small to pick out one by one, which give the paler parts a faint sparkle. Between the two the resin stays glassy and clear, and the eye follows the gold up from the foot, round the swirling ring and out along the arm to the drip at its end.
The base is round and the piece is not, so it has a front, and it should be turned to it before anything else is decided. The fan reads widest from one angle and closes to an S from ninety degrees off it, and both are good but only one can be the approach. A round base also means it sits happily on a round table or a pedestal, where a square one would fight the surface. At 102cm on its disc it suits the floor beside a sofa or a low plinth in a hall, where the drip at the top hangs at the eye of anyone seated.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The gold-toned colour runs deepest in the foot and the legs and lightens as the water climbs, with the fine flecks left to the clear reaches above. On commission the fan can be drawn wider, the swirling ring opened out or closed in, and the long arm's drip brought nearer the plume. Lift it by the legs just above the disc, never by the ring or either arm, and turn it to its front before setting it down. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Gold-streaked water swirling into an open ring above a round black disc joins our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
