This petal shell is left completely clear, with no tint and no ink, so the form does all the work. Its folds and pressed creases show as glassy ridges, each petal curls outward at its tip, and the round plate that fixes it to the column can be seen through the seat. The column and the broad disc below are finished in a warm bronze tone.
Clear resin with nothing in it hides nothing, so the shaping is all on view: the deep folds worked into the back, the way each petal laps over its neighbour, the curl of the tips. Highlights catch along every ridge, and the shell shifts from almost invisible to sharply drawn as you walk round it. The fixing plate under the seat is a plain round disc and is part of the look rather than hidden away. All the colour comes from the bronze-toned stand.
Clear resin goes anywhere, and this chair suits rooms where a coloured piece would be too much: a small bedroom, a dressing area, a desk set in front of a window, or a hall where nothing should block the view. Bronze adds warmth against white walls or stone. The shell swivels on its column. Keep the disc on a level, firm floor. Indoor use only.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. This shell can be ordered tinted or inked instead of clear, and the stand can also be finished in brass, chrome or black; the two are chosen independently, so a coloured shell can still sit on this bronze-toned column. The folds are never quite identical from one shell to the next. Shell and stand are packed separately and joined by bolts at the round seat plate, a short job with the chair's own fixings. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
With its clear shell, this chair is a natural fit for our art furniture; the bronze-toned column relates to our metal sculptures, and the folded petals to our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
