Smooth, polished clear resin forms this whale's tail, rising in one long curve from a broad foot cut at a slant. At its top the trunk bends over into a hooked crest, ridged in amber, and from there a long fluke reaches out to the opposite side, tapering to a pointed tip that deepens from amber to orange-red. Under the fluke runs a thin, pale lobe with a small point of its own.
Everything about this tail is drawn as one continuous line. The trunk is polished smooth rather than rippled, so its outline runs unbroken from the slanted foot up to the crest, catching long, clean highlights on the way, and the crest bends over like the turn of a wave before the fluke carries the line out to the other side. Amber gathers in the crest, where the resin folds into ridges, then runs the length of the fluke and darkens to orange-red near the tip, while the clear trunk beneath keeps all of the colour lifted high on the piece.
Stand it on the floor of a hallway, a reception area or a broad landing, turned so that the hooked crest and the long fluke are seen side on, with clear space beyond the tip. Light from one side, whether a lamp or a window, brings out the long highlights on the polished trunk and the warm amber in the crest, and from straight ahead the tail reads as a slim clear curve with a flash of colour at the top. Indoor use only.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. On commission the amber can run deeper into the crest or be held to the fluke alone, the orange-red tip brightened or toned down, and the trunk given rippled facets in place of its polish. The fluke can be drawn out further or turned more steeply, and other sizes are possible, the curve kept in proportion. The crate stands it upright with the crest and the fluke tip padded; to carry it, hold the trunk with one hand beneath the foot, never the fluke. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A smooth clear trunk hooking into an amber crest and a long pointed fluke carries this tail into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
