Description

Through the bottom curve of this clear resin ring runs a stream of yellow and amber veining, as if colour had been poured in and caught as it fell. The ring does not close: its two ends stop short of each other, and each is finished in frosted, ice-like resin. Black marble forms the base, which is part of the order.

Amber Veins Streaming Through Clear Resin

The veins are thickest in the bottom part of the arc and thin out as they rise, leaving the top almost clear, which gives the ring a weight of colour at its foot and a lightness at the top. The frosted ends are textured to look like fractured ice, a crisp white against the warm yellow, and the polished arc carries light from one end to the other. No two castings stream the colour in quite the same way, so each ring has its own pattern of veins.

Placed square to the room, its 42cm sits well on a side table, a console or a bookcase shelf. The warm veining brightens a white or cream interior, and with sun behind it the yellow glows like honey. Against dark walls the clear arc fades and the veins seem to hang in the air on their own.

Amber Veining, Frosted Ends and the Case

Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. The veining can be made in another colour, red, blue or green, or kept fainter for a paler ring, and the ends finished in gold leaf instead of frost. The width of the opening is adjustable too. It ships flat in one case, the opening supported inside and the stone in a separate wrap, and it is light enough to unpack without any help at all. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Colour streaming down one side of an open ring belongs with our organic sculptures; yellow and amber veins in a colourless body lead to our resin sculptures, and honeyed colour against cream walls joins our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
