Description

A circular relief carved with a classical harvest scene: a figure carrying a pole of game and grapes, a seated woman with a child, and a hound at their feet. A vine runs around the upper edge of the roundel.

A Circular Relief Sculpture in Close-Grained Marble

The scene is carved into a single round slab, with the figures raised to about half their true depth and the vine cut fine along the rim. The marble is a fine close-grained white, which is what lets the drapery folds be undercut this far without the petal-thin edges breaking away.

A roundel suits a hallway, a courtyard wall or the end of a corridor where a rectangle would fight the architecture. Marble is frost-hardy and can hang outdoors under some shelter as well as indoors.

Sizing the Roundel and Fixing It Flat

Six weeks for the roundel, including the vine that runs the rim, which is the slowest part. The roundel measures 120cm across and the diameter is cut to your order. The scene reverses too, if you want a facing pair either side of an opening. The marble takes a honed or a polished finish. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Around 330kg on a concealed bracket into masonry, so it is a two-person fix.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
