The Classical Four Cherub Bronze Fountain stands at a commanding 230cm, rising in three ornate tiers from a sculpted acanthus scroll base to a swan-necked upper bowl crowned with a cross finial. Four putto figures are arranged symmetrically around the central column, arms raised to bear a wide fluted basin, their expressions and postures rendered with the detailed naturalism of classical European fountain tradition.
Every element of this large bronze fountain is produced using the lost-wax casting process, which allows the fine relief detail of the lion mask column, the acanthus scrollwork, and the figural musculature to be preserved through each stage of production. Once cast, each section is hand-chased and finished by our sculptors before being unified in a warm golden-brown patina with aged toning. The result is a surface that reads as both antique and alive, with depth and variation across the figural and decorative planes. At 700kg, this is a substantial architectural installation rather than a garden ornament, and its presence anchors any setting it occupies.
Designed for outdoor placement, this classical bronze cherub fountain performs equally well as a centrepiece in formal walled gardens, grand estate courtyards, hotel grounds, civic spaces, and large landscaped terraces. The warm bronze patina complements stone paving, clipped hedging, and classical architectural backdrops. Integrated fountain plumbing is included; installation requires connection to a recirculating pump and water supply, which we advise is handled by a qualified plumber or landscape contractor.
We offer a range of patina finishes including verdigris, dark brown, and black, as well as gold-leaf highlights on selected decorative elements. Scale adjustments and custom basin configurations are available for large commissions. The composition can be developed further to incorporate bespoke heraldic or monogram relief details, inspired by the long tradition of formal European fountain design. Contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements.
