The Classical Egyptian Queen Bust stands 80cm tall and commands immediate attention: a forward-facing bronze bust rendered in polished gold-toned bronze, crowned with a tall cylindrical headdress banded in turquoise, yellow-green and orange enamel, and finished at the shoulders with a richly decorated polychrome collarette.
This piece is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which preserves every surface nuance from the original sculpted form. The facial planes carry a high-gloss polished gold-tone bronze finish, lending warmth and presence to the neutral, upright expression. The crown features a verdigris-effect turquoise patina on its upper register, transitioning into painted or enamelled banding below, with a central uraeus-style motif in polished gold tone rising from the brow. The decorative collarette at the shoulders mirrors this layered surface treatment, combining cast relief patterning with deliberate polychrome colour application. At 75kg, the mass of the casting reflects the quality of bronze used throughout.
This bust suits interiors where a strong sculptural focal point is required: a double-height hallway, a formal library, a dedicated gallery wall, or a boutique hotel lobby. The gold and turquoise palette pairs well with deep jewel tones, dark stone surfaces, and warm timber. The scale, finish quality and cultural resonance of the piece make it equally at home in a private residence or a commercial hospitality setting.
The default finish combines polished gold-tone bronze with the polychrome enamel crown and collarette detailing shown. Alternative patina treatments are available on request, including a full classical verdigris, a dark antique bronze, or a natural warm brown. The bust can also be scaled up or down to suit your specific space. If you are considering a commission inspired by the work of ancient Egyptian sculptural tradition and would like to discuss proportions or finish variations, contact us before ordering so we can confirm the specification in full.
