The Capsule Portal Iridescent Wood Sculpture at 160cm is a tall capsule-form totem hand-carved from pale natural wood, with a rectangular window cut through its middle revealing a panel of iridescent translucent acrylic behind. At 160cm tall, the silhouette is a clean elongated capsule — rounded dome at the top, long cylindrical body, smoothly resolved base — while the central portal glows with shifting hues of green, turquoise and pink that change as the viewer moves around the piece. The natural blockwork wood finish reveals the joinery of the body in fine vertical grain bands. Each capsule is hand-built, so portal alignment and iridescent character vary subtly.
Our artisans hand-build the capsule body from solid wood blocks fitted tightly together so the surface reads as a single continuous form, then cut and finish the central portal aperture and mount an iridescent acrylic panel inside. The natural wood is finished raw to keep the pale grain tone, while the iridescent panel shifts colour with viewing angle and ambient light. This 160cm capsule portal sculpture works as a tall vertical statement in interiors that welcome a futuristic, experiential focal point: creative agency receptions, designer entryways, gallery-style residential atriums, boutique hotel lobbies, and event installations. The natural wood and iridescent palette pairs cleanly with concrete, brushed steel, off-white plaster, and accent lighting. Indoor display only.
All of our sculptures are fully customisable. Whether you require a different size, an alternative finish, or a bespoke colour, we can tailor this piece to suit your exact vision. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.
For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.
Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
