Burnt orange resin, turning a deep red wherever it thickens at an edge, makes up this dining chair. Its back is a curved band whose ends fold forward and pinch in where they join the seat, leaving an open gap across the chair beneath the band. The seat is gently dished, and its sides roll down into two flat panels that serve as legs, each resting on the floor along its bottom edge.
Two colours come out of one tint. Across the face of the back band, where you look through a single thickness, the resin reads as a warm burnt orange; at the folded wings, the rolled front of the seat and the edges of the legs it darkens to a red close to garnet. The result is a chair outlined in red and filled in with orange, without any painted line. The resin is buffed bright all over, and its curves keep the reflections sliding as you walk round it.
At 80cm it meets a standard dining table, and the open frame keeps a set of them from looking heavy. The warm colour sits well with terracotta, brass and dark timber, and it warms a cool, pale room. Give it a plain pale floor so the red outline reads clearly, and light from one side to pick out the folds. Indoor use only.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The orange can be pushed towards copper or towards a true red, and any other tint can be matched to a sample you send. The folds at the back can be sharpened or softened, and the seat height adjusted by extending the leg panels. Several chairs ordered at once are poured from one batch so the outline colour agrees. Each is crated complete with its edges padded, and it needs two people to carry. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Burnt orange shading into red marks this chair out among our art furniture; its bending ribbon frame suits our organic sculptures, and its warm cast body our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
