Burnt orange colours the bowl of this splash, close to rust at the very foot and warming through a coppery tone to peach in the spikes standing around the rim. Above the bowl the colour goes quickly: the curl rising on the left is tinted only near its root, and the band overhead, the fine post hanging from it into the bowl, and the whole crest are clear. The crest springs from where the band ends: two limbs that close around a wide opening with a small round hole near their foot, a tall tine rising from their join with two nubs beside it, and a blunt tine set on the hook. A low arm stretches out on the right, rust-toned where it leaves the bowl and clear in its three points.
Burnt orange is an earthy colour for a splash, and it makes the bowl read like water running over iron-rich ground. The tint is darkest right at the foot, near burnt sienna, and lightens through copper to a soft peach as the spikes rise, with the folds inside the bowl picking out darker streaks. Above that, the resin is left completely clear, so everything higher, band and crest alike, has the brightness of fresh spray against the warmth below. The change from colour to clear happens inside the curl, with no line to show where.
Earthy, warm colour suits brick, reclaimed timber, leather and black steel, so it belongs in a loft apartment, a restaurant foyer or a bar with low evening light. Standing by a doorway or in a corner, its 102cm suits a room where people pass close enough to see into the orange bowl, while the clear crest catches the light above it. A lamp to one side warms the tint to amber at night. It is an indoor piece.
Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. The orange can be warmed towards copper or deepened towards brown, and carried higher up the curl or held in the bowl alone. The tines and the low arm can each be redrawn, and the whole splash can be produced at another scale. We send it in one padded case with the tines and the low arm supported on their own, and it is lifted from below the bowl. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Burnt orange settled low with clear spray above it files this splash alongside our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
