In this dining table a thick board of dark red-brown timber keeps its live edge along the whole length, standing on two flat panels of translucent green resin set well in from the ends. The panels are the full depth of the board and read as sheets of green glass under it, so the timber appears to float above the floor with nothing solid holding it up.
The board is dried and stabilised with its live edge left as it came, consolidated in place rather than cut back, so the outline is the tree's and not a line anyone drew. The two resin panels are cast to the full depth of the board and taken to a gloss on both faces, and holding a panel that wide free of bubbles is what sets the schedule, because one would read as a fault in glass. The panels are set well in from the ends, so the board is stressed across its own length and the bearing faces have to be brought to one plane before it is bedded down. The top is worked flat across the whole run.
It needs a room with space to pass behind the chairs on either side of it. The panel legs stand well in from the ends, so there is room for a chair at each end without meeting one. Green resin this deep reads almost black away from a light source, so a window along one side or lamps above it will do more for the base than anything else in the room.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. Most of it is the board selection. Three choices are open. The board is chosen from what is in stock at the time and its live edge is what the tree gave, so the outline is agreed before work starts. The panels can be cast in any tint. The board length and the leg depth are named by you. For a matching group, the live edge along the slab is set once and carried through it. The live edge and the two panel legs are padded before the lid goes on, and the slab and the legs travel in separate crates so nothing bears on a leg face. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A live-edge board floating on two green panels gives our art furniture a long dining table; the timber suits our organic sculptures, its glassy legs our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
