This low table is a slab of translucent smoky brown with a raised lip running the whole way round its edge, standing on two irregular forms in the same material that look as though they had stopped part way through collapsing. The lip turns the top into a shallow tray, and the legs are cast hollow, so a piece this long is far lighter than its section suggests.
Each leg is modelled on its own, so the two are not a pair and neither could stand in for the other. They are cast hollow, which is what keeps so long a top movable, and holding the wall even through a form that swells and pinches is where the work is, since the material wants to run thin at the pinch. The lip is worked in the same operation as the top rather than added to it, so nothing shows at the inside corner. The tint is carried in the body, and the two bearing faces are brought to one level before the slab goes down.
It is a long low table for in front of a sofa, and its lip keeps anything set on it where it is put. The two legs stand well in from the ends, so there is knee room at both. Smoky brown material goes almost opaque away from a light source, which is worth knowing before it goes into a corner.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The molten leg is the slow part. Its three open properties are yours. The tint is open, the lip can be left off for a flush top, and the legs can be run solid where weight is wanted rather than avoided. The table length and the lip height are whatever you specify. Order more than one together and the fall of the legs is matched across them. Crated with the raised lip and the two molten legs protected, it is a four-person lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A smoky brown tray on two collapsing legs gives our art furniture a long low table; the slumped legs suit our organic sculptures, its tinted body our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
