This coffee table is a round sheet of plain glass resting on a base of knotted resin links. Beneath it the base is built from closed loops of thick round section in brown-tinted resin, knotted through one another so that several reach the floor while the rest gather at the centre to carry the glass. The tint runs through the material rather than over it, so a loop reads almost black where two cross and clears to a warm rose along its free outer curve. Nothing in the base is fixed to anything.
The base is a knot and nothing in it is fixed. Every element is a closed loop of thick round section with no visible joint, and they pass through one another so several reach the floor while the rest gather at the centre to take the glass; the arrangement holds because of how the loops sit against each other. The brown tint runs through the material, so a loop reads almost black at a crossing where the light path doubles and clears to a warm rose along its free outer curve, and that gradient is what lets the eye follow one loop through the others. The glass above is plain, round and untinted, adding a usable plane and taking nothing from the base.
It belongs in front of a sofa, with clear floor left on the open side. The base is the piece, so nothing should be stored beneath it and a plain rug or floor serves it best. Seen from above the links come through the glass, and seen from a chair they are read directly, so it earns an island position rather than a wall. Indoors.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. Most of it is the knotted links. Three things are settled at order. The brown is offered in other tints, the glass is available smoked or in another diameter, and the link count can be changed. How the loops fall is different on every piece. Top diameter and glass thickness are settled at order. Buy them at once for the brown depth where two links cross to agree, or separately and accept it will not. Packing keeps the glass disc and the outer links off the crate walls, and it is a four-person carry. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Round glass over a knot of brown resin loops makes this a coffee table for our art furniture; a knot that holds together with no fixing anywhere is work for our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the knot read through the glass from a sofa keeps it among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
