This side table has a wide dished top in smoky brown with a thick rim rolled over at its edge, sitting on three vertical cylinders fused together into a trefoil. The cylinders are the same tinted acrylic as the top and meet it at a plain collar, so the whole piece reads as one material and one colour with a change of form at the waist.
The three cylinders are cast as one body with the fillets between them formed rather than filled, so the trefoil reads as a single mass drawn in three places. The dish above is spun to an even wall and its rim rolled over while the material is still workable, which is what gives the edge its thickness without a seam. The collar between dish and base is left plain, and it is the only unworked surface on the piece. The three feet are ground to one plane, since a base this narrow shows any error at the rim.
It stands next to a low seat or at the end of a sofa. The dish is deep enough to hold small things without them rolling off, which a flat top of this size would not. Tinted acrylic reads brown against a pale floor and almost black against a dark one, so the floor decides how heavy the piece looks.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Most of it is the trefoil base. Three choices are open. The tint is open, the dish can be run shallower, and the cluster can be made with four cylinders rather than three. Dish diameter and cylinder reach are quoted to whatever you need. Ask for several together if the roll of the rim needs to agree between them. The rolled rim and the three cylinders go in wrapped apart, and the crate is packed so the dish bears on the base and not on its rim. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A rolled dish on three fused cylinders gives our art furniture a side table; the trefoil of tubes suits our geometric sculptures, the smoky body our acrylic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
