A long, slender boat, made to hang level in the air rather than to stand. Its hull is smooth metal in a deep brown finish, drawn long and narrow with the bow and stern swept up to points, and both sides are cut open in irregular windows. Inside stands a close row of teal acrylic slats, a cargo of clean colour that shows through every opening and along the open top of the hull.
Once it is hung, a boat is no longer a thing on a table but something the whole room looks up to, and every decision here follows from being seen from below and from the side. The windows are cut far enough down the hull that the teal slats show from beneath as well as from the side, and the slats are stood close so that each opening fills with colour. The brown is smooth and even, deliberately quieter than the cargo. Both ends are drawn long and fine, so the silhouette overhead reads as a boat from anywhere in the room.
Hang it over a long dining table, a kitchen island, a stairwell or a double-height hall, anywhere a long clear space above head height wants something in it. Hung high, it shows the whole length of the hull to anyone passing beneath. Light it from above or from the side and the teal cargo glows through the windows in the brown hull. It reads as a boat from the doorway and as a pattern of colour and openings from underneath.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The hull can be finished in another colour, a black or an antiqued gold, and the cargo made in amber, blue or clear acrylic. The windows can be cut wider or kept to fewer openings, and the slats stood closer together or further apart. A darker hull makes the teal look brighter from below. It travels in one long crate with the slats protected inside the hull, and two people should hold it steady while it is hung. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Hung level overhead with its teal cargo glowing through the windows of a brown hull, this boat joins our acrylic sculptures, our contemporary and modern sculptures and our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
