A curve rising out of a tight inner curl and hooking back above it, with dark ink gathered inside the curl and fine particles suspended through the rest of the body. Brown at the tip clearing to pale smoke at the foot, with dark ink drawn through the inner curl. The foot is cut level and nothing is supplied beneath it.
The same drawing at a quarter the height has no balance problem at all, so everything goes into the colour and the ink instead of into the reach. At this height there is no balance to solve, so everything the drawing has goes into what is held inside the body rather than into the reach of the tip. Colour in a clear body of this size has nowhere to hide, so the ink in the curl is read as something held inside the piece rather than as a mark on it. Polished on every face, and the fine particles through the body are left as they fall.
It wants a desk or a shelf, at the distance from which the ink can actually be followed. A pale ground behind it, so the brown tip has an edge and the smoke at the foot reads as smoke. Side light and nothing else. Lit from in front the ink disappears into the brown. At any distance the eye gets an outline only; the ink and the particles inside it are a near fact.
Lead times run 5–6 weeks bespoke and 3–4 standard. If you would rather no ink at all, the body is made clear from the start, and other tones are open to you. Cut the curl deeper and the flame above it is drawn narrower, since the two are balanced against each other rather than sized on their own. One crate, and there is nothing to do but take it out and set it down. One person with both hands, holding the body and leaving the tip alone. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A smoked flame with ink held in its curl leads to our organic sculptures; the inked casting belongs among our resin sculptures, and it is best followed close to, among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
