A wide, shallow oval dish, cast in translucent blue resin. The rim is thin and flares outward, and from it the floor falls gently towards the centre, where a raised ring encloses a second well. Beneath, the body curves in to an oval foot about half its length, so the dish seems to hover a little above the floor. The blue is strongest where the resin is seen through its depth, down the outer wall and in the foot, while the broad floor and the ring read paler.
At this size a dish becomes a surface you walk round rather than a thing you hold, and its whole character is in the long, shallow curve. The rim is kept thin so that the edge reads as a line, and the fall from rim to centre is gentle and even, so the floor reads as one smooth, pale sweep instead of banding, with the stronger blue held in the wall beneath it. The raised ring gives the eye somewhere to land and turns the centre into a small pool within the large one. Resin in this colour takes on the mood of the room, so the dish changes through the day.
It is a piece for the floor of a large space: a hotel lobby, an atrium, a gallery or a wide entrance hall, where it can be walked right round. Leave room around it so furniture does not crowd it, and let daylight or a wash of light fall into the dish from above. It can be left empty or given a single object in the central well. From a stair or a gallery above, the oval and its ring read as one clear shape.
The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The blue can be deepened or changed, to clear, amber or green, the dish made to another size for a room of ordinary proportions, and the central ring left out for an open bowl. An amber gives a warmer pool of colour, and a green a cooler and more watery one. It travels in a single made-to-measure crate and needs a delivery team with lifting equipment and a clear route into the room. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Its colour and cast finish are shared with our resin sculpture; for its broad natural curve see organic sculpture, and for more large statement pieces, contemporary sculpture.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
