In this cast resin sculpture a single wire carries five gold leaves across the open side of a brushed blue arc that curls round like a letter C and stands on black marble. Long brushed strokes run with the curve all the way round, and the blue is deepest through the body of the C, clearing to white at both tips. The leaves are shallow dishes rather than flat plates, and each sits at its own angle on the wire, so they never all catch the light together.
Five forms on one continuous wire have to be balanced against each other rather than fixed one at a time, which is a different problem from hanging five separate things. The wire takes a single path from one side of the arc to the other, and every leaf on it changes the shape of that path: add one near the middle and the whole line sags towards it. So the leaves are positioned together, with the wire under its final tension, and each is moved along until the curve between them is even. That is also why they are dished rather than flat: a dish has its weight below the wire and hangs at a predictable angle, where a flat plate rotates and settles wherever it likes.
It wants a plain wall close behind it, because the wire reads as a drawn line only against something empty. On a console in front of a bookcase the line disappears into the spines and the leaves look scattered; against plaster or a plain paper the drawing comes back. At 70cm it suits a sideboard, a hall console or a study shelf. Light from in front and slightly to one side puts a highlight on each dish in turn as you move past, which is the effect the varied angles were set up for.
Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. Five leaf forms are threaded on one continuous wire, so they are balanced against each other rather than fixed one at a time, and that is the stage that sets the schedule. The leaves can be made as fish or as petals, and the wire can carry three of them or seven. The arc is drawn to any span, and the leaves come gold-toned, chromed or blackened. It travels in one braced case with the wire and the leaves packed separately from the arc, and they go on after the arc is standing: the wire is fitted first, then each leaf is threaded and positioned by hand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
