Blue to Yellow Lagoon Cast Resin Round Table - 110cm
Blue to Yellow Lagoon Cast Resin Round Table - 110cm $7,15100
Description

This round low table holds a lagoon in its top. The disc is thick, with a polished edge, and a deep marine blue fills its outer band; inside that, off to one side, a broad pale patch with a wavy edge runs from turquoise through green to a soft yellow at its heart. Below, a slim chrome column stands on a wide chrome disc foot whose face is worked in concentric ripples.

A Grade That Runs Inward Rather Than Downward

The colour here runs across the disc rather than down it, and that turns the table into a map. Read from the rim, the blue holds deep and even until it meets the wavy edge of the pale patch, and inside that edge the colour lifts through green to yellow, so the top reads as water shallowing over a sandbank. The patch is not central; it sits off to one side, which is what stops the whole thing looking like a target. The edge of the disc is polished, so the deep blue catches one continuous highlight all the way round and reads as a lip holding the shallows in. Beneath, the chrome foot repeats the idea in metal, its concentric ripples spreading out from the column.

Broad and low, this is a coffee table for the centre of a seating group, and it is emphatically a piece to look down into, so low seating around it serves it better than tall. The top is level throughout and takes trays and books. It wants light from above, which reaches the pale patch; a single side window lays a bright band across the disc and hides the grade. On a dark floor the chrome ripples come forward as the brightest thing on the piece. Indoors only.

Where the Pale Patch Sits, and How Far the Blue Reaches

Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. Where the pale patch falls is the first decision and it changes the reading completely: off-centre as here reads as a shore, dead centre reads as a pool, and at the very rim reverses the whole thing. The reach of the blue is second, from this broad band through to a narrow rim of colour on an otherwise pale disc. The third is the foot, which can be this rippled chrome, a plain polished disc, a brass, or a matt black that removes the metal from the composition. Colours can also run green to cream, or grey to white. Disc diameter and column height are named together. It arrives on a pallet in one crate, base fitted, and three people should place a disc of this weight. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A lagoon that shallows across its disc sends this table to our organic sculptures; it is listed too in our art furniture, and its rippled chrome foot in our metal sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
