Blue to Green Dripping Cast Resin Side Table - 45cm
Blue to Green Dripping Cast Resin Side Table - 45cm $2,15800
Description

This side table is cast in resin coloured blue and green. The top is a round disc with a rolled edge, and from underneath it the material appears to run downward into four legs, each narrowing as it falls and ending in a bulbous drop on the floor. Between those four, further drips hang free and stop in mid air. The colour is two: a clear blue through the upper part running into green down the legs, with darker ink swirls held in the top face.

Drips That Stop Short of the Floor

Two things are happening in the colour and they meet in the middle. The top holds a clear blue with darker ink swirls turned through it, and the four legs run green, so the change happens where the material leaves the underside of the top and begins to fall. Look at the piece from a seat and it reads blue; look up at it from the floor and the green in the legs carries. The short drips hanging free between the legs are the detail that makes the whole thing work: they stop in mid air at different heights and none matches another, so the underside never resolves into a pattern.

At 45cm the table sits at the usual side table height, next to an armchair or at a sofa's end. The drips are what people look at, so it needs to stand clear rather than be tucked in, and it is best seen from the side and from slightly below. A pale floor lets the green in the legs read; a dark one closes it up. Nothing should be stored beneath it. Indoors only.

The Colour Route, the Drip Count, and the Top

Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The drip forms are the reason. There are three decisions. The colour route comes first, from this blue running into green through to a single deep green or one flat tone throughout. The drip count is second: four legs with free drips between them as here, or three, which opens the underside. And the top, which can carry these darker ink swirls or be left clear. Diameter and height are quoted to your own figures. Where two or more are wanted, the blue-into-green run is held the same across the group. It travels with the four hanging drips packed clear, and one person can place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Drips frozen mid-fall tie this table to our organic sculptures, its blue-to-green pour to our resin sculptures, and its daily use to our art furniture.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
