A three-tip flame with its points drawn well out, rising off one foot on a block of dark stone. Blue through the body clearing at the tips, so the points nearly vanish against a light ground. A dark stone slab comes with it as part of the price, with the flame fixed to it and ready to stand.
Clearing the colour at the tips lets the form end without an edge, so where the piece stops is decided by the material rather than the outline. Clearing the colour before the points are reached is the hardest passage on the piece to finish, because there is no pigment left to cover anything: every mark in the polish at the tips is visible from any angle. Colour that gives out at the extremities means the piece ends without an edge, and where a form stops becomes a question the material answers rather than the outline. A full polish, and the clearing tips are the hardest passage to finish because any flaw shows without colour to hide it.
It wants a console or a sideboard against a dark wall. Dark, and this one needs it more than its sibling: clear tips on a pale ground are not there at all. A source behind and to one side lights the body and leaves the tips as edges. The blue mass carries; the tips are found only when you are close enough to look for them.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. The blue can be carried to the tips, the form can be made at other heights, and pale stone is available. Carry the blue to the tips and the piece gains a hard outline, which is the opposite of what this version is doing. The blue can be carried all the way out to the points, and doing so makes the piece far easier to place and far less interesting to look at, since the tips then end at a line instead of ending at nothing in particular. One crate, arriving fixed to its stone. One person at the block. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Flame points that clear to nothing are gathered in our organic sculptures; blue fading into clear glass joins our resin sculptures, and it stands against a dark wall with our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
