Blue to Clear Leaning Arch Cast Resin Sculpture - 70cm, a branch-like form fading from blue to clear on a black marble base, shown against a plain white background.
Blue to Clear Leaning Arch Cast Resin Sculpture - 70cm $1,95600
Description

A blue arch leans up and out from its foot, the blue dense where it leaves the block and gone by the crown. It rises through a broad open ring, crossed at mid-height by a band of blue water with a loop above it, puts out antler-like tines along its left-hand limb and finishes in a clear crown that branches into tines of its own. The black marble block beneath it is under half as wide as the piece, so the crown reaches well outside the stone on one side and the tines on the other.

Half the Width Stands Off the Block

The block is less than half the width of the piece above it, so half the width stands off the stone on one side or the other. That is a decision and not an oversight. A block drawn to the full width would have made the arch look planted, and the gesture is of something leaning away from where it started. The deep blue foot sits square over the block, and what reaches past the stone on either side is slender: the tines along the left-hand limb and the branching crown, which is clear. The colour and the structure are the same decision taken once.

The crown reaches past the stone, so the piece wants a surface with a margin rather than one it can be pushed flush against. Set back to a wall, the leaning half of the arch is the part that meets it, and the lean is the whole of the piece. Standing it forward with a hand's width behind reads correctly from the room. At 70cm with its block it sits well on a narrow console or a sideboard, where the crown meets the eye of someone standing.

Holding the Blue Higher, and Delivery

Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The blue is dense at the foot and gone by the crown, so the colour drains upward as the arch climbs. The blue can be held further up the arch, the tines tinted along with it, and the marble cut to other sizes. Carrying the colour the whole way to the crown makes a single-tint piece and loses the drain the design rests on. It travels upright with the marble boxed apart and the crown sleeved, and the arch is set on its block where it stands. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A deep blue foot on black marble rising to a crown of clear tines leads to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
