Deep blue at its foot and colourless by its top face, this six-sided stool is cast hollow in resin, so it seems to stand on a pool of blue. A swirl is pressed into every one of its faces, and it sits straight on the floor, no base supplied. The blue is in the resin itself rather than on its surface, so it holds its depth all the way round.
The blue sits in the bottom of the wall and fades as it climbs, so the stool seems to stand in water that clears toward the surface. A hollow body holds that gradient evenly on all six sides, where a solid one would darken at its thickest point. The swirls pressed into each face are polished over, and their ridges catch light as pale rings over the blue, brightest where the colour is deepest. The wall is strong enough to sit on, and the blue glows when a window or a lamp stands behind it.
Blue gives it a cool note in a warm room: beside an oak or walnut sideboard, in a bathroom, or next to a window where the light will find the colour at its foot. It serves as a stool, a bedside table or a small stand for a plant. A pale floor sets off the blue best, while a dark one swallows the gradient, so choose the ground with the colour in mind.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The blue can be taken further up the wall or held close to the floor, a deeper or a paler blue can be matched to a sample, and the swirled texture can give way to plain faces. The seat can be set at a height you specify. The same hexagon comes in amber, deepest at its foot, and in clear throughout, sold separately. One upright crate, and a pair of hands on each side of the base to lift it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Sculptural seats in other colours and forms are found in our art furniture, while more blue and clear pieces for the home appear among our indoor sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
