Blue Three-Tip Flame Resin Sculpture - 58cm
Blue Three-Tip Flame Resin Sculpture - 58cm $1,75500
Description

A flame shape in blue cast resin, curling up from a single foot into three tips of different lengths: one tall and slender, one bent out to the side and one short curl near the base. The colour is a deep, rich blue in the tall tip and along the outer curves, and it pales to a glassy near-clear where the flame meets its foot. The stone below, black marble, is part of the price.

A Cold Flame in Deep Blue

Blue turns a flame into something unexpected, cool rather than hot, closer to gas or deep water than to fire. The colour is strongest where the tips thin and curl, so the outline is drawn in deep blue, and it lightens towards the foot, which lets the whole shape seem to rise off its base. The three tips sweep up from the foot without a join, and every surface is polished so the blue stays clear and bright rather than dense. Held up to a window, the tall tip glows like a gas flame.

It suits a writing desk, a side table or a shelf, with a plain wall behind it so the outline reads clearly. Cool, calm rooms in white and grey suit it, and it looks at ease beside glass, silver and books. A lamp at one side sets the tips glowing; against a pale wall the deep blue outline reads strongly from across a room, and up close the clear foot shows the stone through it.

Navy, Aqua, or Graded Tips, and How It Ships

Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Navy or aqua can replace this blue, and the tips can be drawn out further or set wider apart. The block can be cut in pale stone for contrast with the colour. The same flame is made in amber running into yellow, sold on its own. It is shipped in a small crate with the block in place, and it is unpacked by lifting the stone, never by one of the three tips, which are the finest part of the piece. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A cool blue flame curling from one foot sits among our resin sculptures; the three drawn tips belong with our organic sculptures, and its calm colour carries through into our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
