Under a level clear top, the basin of this low table falls away in narrow stepped terraces from a pale timber rim to a deep navy pool, each step set a little further in than the last and each lip traced with a fine dark line. The drum around it is built up from laminated timber in fine horizontal bands, and its outline is a soft, wide oval rather than a circle.
The terraces are real steps, not a printed pattern, so every lip casts a small shadow on the one below and the top reads as a hollow you look down into. The colour deepens with the depth: pale aqua at the rim, clear turquoise through the middle steps and a saturated navy at the bottom of the pool. The drum is laminated from layers of timber and finished smooth, the bands running round it unbroken, and the clear top is laid level across the whole basin.
It works as a coffee table in front of a sofa, where people look down into the terraces from where they sit. Its clear top runs flat from one side of the rim to the other, so cups and books rest safely above the navy pool. Overhead light brings out the shadows of the steps. Indoor use only.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The number of terraces and how far each one steps in are drawn to order, and the colour run can be changed from turquoise and navy to green and jade or to greys. The outline can be made rounder or more lobed, and the drum height can be raised. The table arrives in one piece, upright on a pallet with its top protected, and two people carry it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Turquoise steps falling to a navy pool inside a timber drum give our art furniture a coffee table; the contour-like terraces suit our organic sculptures, the tinted steps our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
