A drum table in pale timber with a soft irregular outline rather than a circle. Under a level clear top the basin falls away in stepped terraces, each one set in from the last, from a raw timber rim through pale mint and turquoise steps to a lobed navy pool at the middle. Every terrace lip carries a fine dark line along it, so the steps read through the clear top like the contour lines on a chart.
The recess is what separates this from an inlay. The steps are physical, so each terrace lip throws a small shadow onto the one below it and the top reads as a basin you look into rather than a pattern you look at. There are a dozen or more of these steps between the timber rim and the middle, and they are unequal, crowding close together on one side where the outline pinches and spreading wide where it opens. Colour tracks the depth. The topmost terrace is a cream-green barely off the timber, the middle steps run through mints into a clear turquoise, and the last drop goes to a saturated navy in a rounded, lobed pool. Around all of it the timber rim is left plain and pale, and the drum below is built up from stacked layers of timber that show as fine horizontal bands down its full height.
Set in front of seating as a coffee table, it is at its best where people look down into the terraces. The clear top runs level from rim to rim, so a tray, a book or a glass can stand anywhere on it, even over the deepest part of the pool. A pale floor suits the timber and a rug loses the drum's grain. Overhead light shows the step shadows; a low lamp flattens them. Indoor use only.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. Timber comes first, because the drum has to be prepared before a line is set out on it. Then the terracing is drawn: how many steps, how far each is set in, and how deep the pool falls. Six shallow steps read calm; twelve read like a contour survey. The plan can be made up or down in size to order, and the outline is drawn rather than turned, so a rounder or a more lobed shape is a request rather than a different model. On colour: this mint to navy run is standard, and a green to jade, a grey to black and a single blue with cream steps are all made. The height can be raised on request. It travels as one piece, upright on a purpose-built pallet with the top capped, arrives assembled, and is a two-person lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A drum of layered timber holding a terraced blue pool is both furniture, from our art furniture, and landscape, from our organic sculptures; the tinted steps relate it to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
