This low table has a lobed outline like a pool on a map, and inside its laminated timber rim the surface drops in wide, uneven terraces of blue resin to a deep pool at the centre, all under a level clear top. The steps crowd together where the outline pinches and spread out where it opens, so the basin reads like a stretch of coastline seen from the air.
Each terrace is cut back from the one above it and filled with its own tint, so the blues deepen step by step towards the middle and the lip of every step throws a fine shadow. The lobed outline is drawn by hand, which is why the terraces swell and narrow around it instead of following a circle. The drum below is laminated from timber layers that show as fine bands down its side, and the clear top is set level over the whole basin, edge to edge.
Its size suits the centre of a generous seating group, where the terraces can be looked into from every side. The level clear top takes trays and glasses anywhere, even over the deepest part. A pale floor flatters the timber, and light from above shows the steps best. Indoor use only.
Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The terrace count and the depth of the pool are drawn to order, and the blues can be exchanged for greens, greys or a single colour stepped in strength. The lobed plan can be made broader or rounder, and the timber of the drum is chosen when the order is placed. Tables ordered together are terraced to match. The table travels whole on a pallet with its top capped, and two people set it in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A lobed pool of blue terraces sunk in laminated timber belongs with our organic sculptures; set out in a living room it takes its seat among our art furniture, the tinted terraces our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
