In this cast resin sculpture a spire of water rises out of a ring of spray, blue at the foot and clear at the top. The spire is a single column pierced by round and oval openings, leaning well out to one side as it climbs and opening at its head into curling, forked prongs, and the blue in it is concentrated in the bottom third where the spray gathers. The spray itself is a low ring of separate fingers running outwards, with a hoop of water looping round the foot of the spire, and it spreads wider than anything above it.
Most splash pieces put the fragile part at the top, where it can be seen and protected in one gesture. This one puts it at the bottom and on the outside. The spray ring is the widest thing on the piece and the thinnest material anywhere in it, and it sits at exactly the height a hand reaches for when the piece is being moved, so it is the part that has to survive being picked up, packed, unpacked and set down. That governs how it is faced in transit and how it is handled on site, and it is why the piece is lifted by the column and never by the ring. It also governs the drawing: the fingers rise outwards and upwards from broad roots and taper to their tips, because a finger that is thin where it starts is a lever waiting for a knock.
The spray ring reaches wider than the spire, so it needs clearance at the sides rather than above. Nothing about the height is demanding, since at 75cm it sits at a comfortable eye line on any ordinary top, but the ring wants a hand's width of empty space all the way round it, which is more than the outline suggests. A position in a corner or beside a lamp base puts the fingers where they can be caught. Light from low down and to one side runs along the spray and picks out each finger separately; light from overhead lights the column and leaves the ring in its own shadow.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The spray ring reaches out past the spire and is thin where it does, which makes it the first thing to suffer in handling. The spire is set at whatever height suits the position, and the blue can be replaced with a green. The spread of the spray is drawn to order, the ring itself is optional, and the marble base comes in black or a pale stone. It travels in one foam-lined case with the spray ring faced individually and the base boxed apart, and it is assembled on site by levelling the base and lowering the piece on by its column. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Blue spray ringing the foot of a pierced, tilting spire places this piece with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
