This stool is a hollow hexagonal prism of clear cobalt-blue cast resin. Each of its six sides carries a single group of concentric rings pressed into the surface and drawn out into tall ovals inside a plain flat border, and the top carries rings that wind into a slow swirl. The blue is a clear mid cobalt, deeper along the six upright arrises where the eye passes through more material and paler in the middle of each face.
The decision that makes this piece is that no face was left plain. Every side carries its own ripple group, and because the resin is translucent the rings on the far sides show faintly through the near ones, so the stool gives overlapping patterns at different depths from any angle, and moving the head shifts one against the other. On the top the rings tighten into a swirl, and their ridges catch a fine bright line where they turn. On the sides the rings are shallow enough that a hand feels them only faintly. The six upright arrises each hold a darker line of blue that frames the faces like the leading in a window. Because it is hollow, the stool is a good deal lighter than a solid casting would be. A single stool is supplied at this price, and each one is ordered and priced on its own.
Low and compact, it serves as a stool or a side piece: a perch at a coffee table, a stand for a plant, or a step. The top is flat and level and takes a tray. Its best position is where light can come through it from one side, since the whole body then lights up and the rings on the far faces read through the near ones. On a pale floor the cobalt is at its strongest. Indoors only.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. The ring pattern is the first choice: these tall oval groups with a swirl on the top, a single round ripple centred on each face, or smooth faces all round. How many faces carry it is the second, and leaving some faces plain lets the patterned ones read more strongly. The hollow wall can be cast heavier for a stool that feels more solid, or the whole form cast solid at a considerable weight. Cobalt can also be a green, an amber or a smoke grey. Plan and height follow whatever figures you send. It travels in one crate, arrives finished, and one person can carry it easily. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A six-sided stool rippled on every face suits our geometric sculptures; its cobalt tint links it with our resin sculptures, and anyone after a low seat with presence should look through our art furniture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
